Pejam celik, pejam celik sudah hampir 6 tahun usia perkahwinan ku. 6 tahun hanya suatu kiraan waktu yang teramat mentah kalau memperkatakan soal pengalaman rumahtangga. Namun usia 6 thn juga merupakan suatu janka masa yang banyak memberiku pengalaman dan pengajaran. Dalam usia sesingkat itu banyak pengalaman pahit manis yang kami tempuh bersama. pengalaman yang menjadikan kami semakin matang dan mengerti menghargai antara satu sama lain. Dalam usia 6 tahun kami belajar membina sebuah bahagia untuk kehidupan kami, meskipun ianya suatu proses yang banyak memerlukan pengorbanan, namun kami rela dan ridho.
Hari ini (03/04/2010) isteri ku menyediakan makan malam buat kami anak beranak. Aku tidak pasti kali yang keberapa. Isteriku wanita berkerjaya. Sebagai seorang pensyarah di Politeknik tempatan, dia sememangnya sibuk dengan tugas harian. Tugasnya bermula sesudah solat subuh. Menyediakan anak-anak untuk dihantar ke rumah pengasuh dan nursery. Paginya bermula dengan agak kelam kabut (maklumlah anak-anak kecil susah diurus. Tugasnya tamat hampir jam 5 petang. Oleh kerana nature tugasnya yang hectic, kami lebih gemar untuk tidak memasak. So, after school aku akan keluar lunch dengannya, dan sebelah malam aku akan keluar dan memesan makanan dari restoran-restoran yang beroperasi bagaikan cendawan di sekitar kejiranan kami.
Begitulah rutin harian kami, tetapi malam ini aku nak makan masakan isteriku di rumah, pertama; kerana aku penat nak keluar, kedua; nak save budget, ketiga; masakan dirumah lebih menyihatkan. So malam ni isteri ku akan masak nasi(tgh masak atas dapur), goreng ikan dan ayam, goreng terung & bendi pedas, dan ada sedikit buah geduaq (kerdas: dalam loghat kelantan). Sekali sekala dapat makan masakan dirumah memang enak, tambahan pula jika saudara mara berkunjung. Macam 2,3 hari lepas ipar dan mentua ku datang berziarah. So kami pun masak lebih dari biasa dan makan lebih dari biasa...
Isteriku bukanlah handal memasak, dan dia beruntung kerana dapat aku sebagai suaminya. Kerana aku ni tidak cerewet dalam hal makanan. Namun setiap kali isteri ku memasak, aku akan makan sebagai tanda penghargaan dan memang aku menghargai jasanya membantu menyediakan makanan..."Thanks Sayang"

Semalam hujan turun membasahi bumi Kelantan...sejuk nyaman. Sudah hampir 3 hari hujan turun menyirami bumi. Begitulah Rahmat Allah buat manusia.
Hari ini terpanggil diri ini mencoret sesuatu pada lembaran blog ini, bukanlah sesuatu yang istimewa tapi sekasar mengisi sisa hidup yang berlalu agar tidak pergi sia-sia.

17 tahun yang lalu, aku adalah seorang remaja yang bersemangat...tiada apa yang perlu digentarkan. Rebellious, itulah sifat yang sesuai untuk diriku saat itu. Saat dibangku sekolah adalah saat-saat yang amat indah. Tika itu aku tidak perlu dibebani dengan perkara-perkara besar. apa yang ada diminda saat itu hanyalah, ceria bersama teman-teman. Belajar, berkawan, bergurau, "happy-happy all the time..."

Bila umurku mencecah 18 tahun, aku menjejakkan kaki ku ke menara gading. Disitu aku mula menguakkan sayap kedewasaanku... Ku mengenal erti setiakawan, merasa betapa benarnya sebuah kata "Cinta tak bisa dipaksa", mengenal erti tanggungjawab terhadap diri n keluarga.

Setelah aku menjejakkan kaki ke dunia kerjaya, aku kehilangan orang yang kusayangi...bapaku meninggal dunia setelah lebih 20 tahun melawan diabetes. Abah tidak pernah dapat menimang cucu pertamanya (anak kakakku), malah abah belum sempat menerima menantu barunya (isteriku). Abah tak pernah sempat merasa hasil susah payahnya menjaga dan mendidik kami. Bila aku lihat Avanza ku, aku terkilan kerana aku tidak akan dapat lagi membawa abah meronda-ronda didalam mobil anak jantan sulungnya. Bila ku tenung wajah-wajah comel anak-anakku,aku sayu kerana mereka tidak pernah "tok abah", apatah lagi ditimangnya. Abah meninggalkan ku disaat aku belum sepenuhnya bersedia memikul amanah sebagai 'bapa' kepada adik-adikku yang seramai 8 orang. Saat itu aku merasa amat takut. Takut kalau-kalau aku tidak mampu menjadi pengganti abah, sedang ketika itu lima dari adikku masih bersekolah, dan seorang menuntut di UPSI. Pada masa yang sama aku akan menjadi seorang suami. Peritku rasakan ketika itu. Syukur aku di anugerahi seorang suri yang begitu berbudi luhur. Seakan tulang belikatku dia menyokong ku, membantu, meniupkan semangatku. Akhirnya aku berjaya membantu ibuku membesarkan adik-adikku. Aku menjadi wali pernikahan adik perempuanku, membantu adikku yang kelima menyambung pelajarannya di UITM.

Sujud syukur pada Allah atas segala nikmatNya...
Aku kini mengalami proses rejuvanasi...dari segi semangat. Kini aku tidak gentar pada cabaran. Walaupun aku terpaksa melawan penyakit yang membunuh abah ku...inilah sebuah kehidupan...seorang "AKU"

fishing? well nothing much to be said...I'm busy with weekend tuition class. So like it or not I'm gonna stop fishing for awhile...

Mancing kat kolam ni memang bukan taste aku la..tp sekali sekala tu boleh la. Last holiday my friend invited me to a natural fishing pond at Padang Sembilan, Kuala Krai. Well, why not..just RM 20 for 3 hours. Kolam ini mengamalkan kaedah catch and release untuk memastikan kelestarian ikan-ikan di situ.

Kami pergi berempat Lan, Azizi, Man and me. Ni macam reunion la...they are my friends from SMK Pahi (my previous teaching school). Well lets cut it short, I caught 2 'patin' weighing 600 grams and 3.5 kilo respectively....

MY FAVOURITE FISHING SPOT...TOK BALI

I have tried quite a lot of fishing spots. But so far I find myself extremely excited when i thought of Tok Bali. Beginning February I've paid a couple of visits there and it didnot turn me down.

This is "Belukang" or 'duke' (pronounce in Kelantanese dialect). It has the same features as a catfish or 'baung'. Some say that 'duke' can't be eaten not because of its poisonous, but because of its eating habit. It eats everything, almost everything...up to garbage. But I think you should try it cause it taste quite delicious. Remember, things (fish) that come from is clean..

hi... howdy..its a long journey that we've been doing. sometimes it makes us frustrated and sad. we face so many obstacles in life, some say its the spice of life. well i think i have to accept it. but then how long can we stand the test of time? there will be time when we have to brake down and cry.

guys, we are all the same, created by God for the same purpose. you and i, we are not alone in this world... anyway the reason i write today is just to release my depression. it seems that i need someone that can lend me his/her ears.

Monsoon...oh..Monsoon

Its now monsoon season in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, i.e in Kelantan...

so there is nothing much to do. The only activity that i can think off is taking nap after nap. i have to forget my favourite activity, i.e fishing...for a while.. i hope.

My last expedition was rather a surprise for me. It was in Tok Bali Beach Bachok... Unlike my past expedition the trip this time can be considered as a one-man-show. Yupp...I was all alone with my lucky fishing gear.

After more than one hour trying my luck, I finally decided to go home. But then came another shocking event when one of the rods shaking hesterically. Without wasting anytime, I grab it and pull the line as fast as I can.

I felt something was pulling the line. In that exciting moment, the only thing that came across my mind is my wife's proud smile (yeah..never caught a fish more than 200 grams). So the battle between man and nature began. After almost 5 minutes, I managed to land an eel...so frustrated....I took a picture of it, but i forgot to upload it into my hardisk. so I'll show the picture later.

Anyway...I will never give up... I know somewhere out there, in that blue ocean...there will be a huge fish waiting for me, waiting to snap the bait. At that victorous moment, the world will witness once again, that the son of Adam rules the world..........

Fishing For a Sale A keen country lad applied for a salesman's job at a city department store. In fact it was the biggest store in the world - you could get anything there. The boss asked him, "Have you ever been a salesman before?" Yes, I was a salesman in the country" said the lad. The boss liked the cut of him and said, "You can start tomorrow and I'll come and see you when we close up." The day was long and arduous for the young man, but finally 5 o'clock came around. Then he said his Volkswagen probably wouldn't be able to pull it, so I took him to the car department and sold him the new Deluxe Cruiser." The boss took two steps back and asked in astonishment, "You sold all that to a guy who came in for a fish hook?" "No," answered the salesman "He came in to buy a box of Tampons for his wife and I said to him, 'Your weekend's shot, you may as well go fishing.'"

Lady Over Paying For Tackle

A woman goes into Wal-mart to buy a rod and reel. She doesn't know which one to get, so she just grabs one and goes over to the register. There is a Wal-mart associate standing there with dark glasses on. She asks, "Excuse me sir. Can you tell me anything about this rod and reel?" He says, "Ma'am I'm blind, but if you drop it on the counter I can tell you everything you need to know about it from the sound that it makes." She didn't believe him, but dropped it all on the counter anyway. He said "That's a 6' graphite rod with Zebco 202 reel and 10 lb. test line. It's a good all around rod and reel, and it's $20." She says, "That's amazing that you can tell all that just by the sound of it dropping on the counter. I think it's what I'm looking for, so I'll take it." He walks behind the counter to the register. And in the meantime, the woman farts. At first she is embarrassed, but then realizes that there is no way he could tell it was she. Being blind, he wouldn't know that she was the only person around. He rings up the sale and says, "That will be $25.50." She asks, "But didn't you say it was $20?" He says, "Yes ma'am, the rod and reel is $20, the duck call is $3, and the catfish stink bait is $2.50!"
